I continue to present lectures online and in person in the UK, the Netherlands and Australia. Two past online lectures for the Church Monuments Society are available online on Youtube (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OFpenEpDsE), and a third one was broadcast on 14 March 2026: please watch out for further announcements.
Furthermore, I gave a lecture on the enigmatic Early Netherlandish painter Jheronimus (Hieronymus) Bosch at Gresham College, London, on Wednesday 10 December 2025, which is available on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7E61Ik-HoI.
Meanwhile, I continue my research and writing. A scholarly edition with the late Prof.em. Clifford Davidson, entitled 'John Lydgate, The Dance of Death, and its model, the French Danse Macabre', was published by Brill in April 2021 (see https://brill.com/view/title/58766?language=en) and a new co-edited volume on the Danse Macabre has just been published by Brill (November 2025, https://brill.com/display/title/72564?language=en&srsltid=AfmBOoo-XH_WHOPtUJJKFGJXY217niCdhHaedBP9fBJs382b-B24Dex4 ) with a second volume due to be published in November 2026.
See also my various blogs and 'Monument of the Month' essays on the Church Monuments Society website, e.g. about the monuments to Dutch naval hero Piet Hein at https://churchmonumentssociety.org/2025/06/09/making-waves-the-dutch-naval-hero-piet-hein-d-1629-and-his-monuments. There will be more articles and books so watch this space!
